Level 4 · Uneven bars
USAG women’s DP · 2021–2029 compulsory cycle
Major elements only. This is a guide to the prescribed routine, not every movement, connection, arm position or judging rule.
- Glide kip and cast to horizontal
The opening kip may use a straddle or pike glide. Horizontal means the body reaches bar level.
- Move to the high barAllowed choice
Cast to squat-on/pike-on, or the prescribed backward sole-circle alternative, then jump to the high bar.
- Long hang kip and cast to horizontal
A long hang kip starts below the high bar and ends in support above it.
- Back hip circle and swing sequence
Follow with the underswing, counterswing, tap swing forward and next counterswing.
- Half-turn dismount
The forward tap swing finishes with a half turn and the required re-contact of the bar.
Compulsory routines follow a set exercise. A harder skill is not automatically an allowed replacement. Use only the choices specified for this level.
